Aurum Alloy is by the A Grade showjumper McCartney who was by the famous Australian sire Souvenir out of the A Grade showjumper Valli.

Souvenir was regarded internationally as a perfectly conformed horse during his life and was winner of the Led Stallion Class at Melbourne Royal Show no less than 6 times! After his retirement his son Supreme went on to repeat this feat!

Souvenir's is possibly one of the most succesful bloodlines in Australian equestrian history. He produced an incredible number of successful performance horses including Olympic, International and National competitors such as Kirby Park Irish Jester (Silver, Beijing Olympics), Peppermint Grove (Gold, Atlanta Olympics), Kibah Sandstone (Gold, Sydney Olympics), Mickey Mouse (with Vicki Roycroft), Mac's Bravado, Tongala (with Art Uytendaal) and Autograph (5th Rotterdam Alt Olympics).

There are several McCartneys currently competing successfully with some of our top competitors including Wendy Schaeffer (Koyuna Sun Smoke) and
Heath Ryan (Koyuna Streisand).

From his dam line Alloy inherits a wonderful floating movement, presence and excellent conformation. Vain appears in the pedigree of many successful eventers, showjumpers and dressage horses including Brilliant Invader. The well known Uptrend (Ian Stark, Danny Wilson) was by Vain.

Alloy's foals are stunning looking and show exciting movement coupled with great temperaments and excellent conformation.
