Mary Poppins is a lovely big chestnut mare who has dressage star written all over her as she moves around the paddock showing off her babies. She is by Walt Disney, a leading Hanoverian sire and half brother to Weltmeyer.
Walt Disney placed 1st in his 300 day performance test in 1989 and his progeny show significant refinement in conformation and dressage ability.
| Walt Disney horses are highly sought after in Europe and prized but rare in Australia as he is no longer available by frozen semen.
Mary Poppins' dam side deserves mention too as she has several occurences of Dark Ronald as well as Precipitation. These two thoroughbred sires appear in many of the world's greatest dressage horses in the European scene including Jazz himself! |

Our first foal from Mary Poppins, the filly Aurum Pepeliashka by Prince Noir was purchased by Heath and Rozzie Ryan for their breeding programme. Pepeliashka currently has her first foal at foot, a spectacular Jive Magic colt.
MP's second foal for us, Aurum Breathless, is a very pretty filly by Brentano II and is currently in training with Brya Law in Victoria. She shows excellent movement. Mary Poppins' daughters of course have the advantage of being from a mare conceived from frozen semen which will give them an increased likelyhood of being able to conceive to frozen semen themselves.
Aurum Weltschale was the third foal and once again a filly! She was by Wyndemere an imported Wolkenstein II son. Weltschale has very expressive movement and is set to be a future Grand Prix star in her new WA home.
In 2007 MP produced another filly. Aurum Ella is a big elegant uphill filly who shows wonderful elasticity, balance and flowing paces. She is particularly noticeable for her expansive movement, free shoulder and great hock action. The fact that she is gorgeous is icing on the cake! With proven Grand Prix producing bloodlines on both sides she will go to the top in a Grand Prix home. She is currently retained by the stud.
MP's 2008 foal is an amazing colt by Jazz. He was snapped up by a strong competition rider in NSW and we await his competition career with great anticipation!
So far all of MP's foals have been very pretty and chestnut (and mostly female)! They all possess outstanding presence.
