'Moses' is a big, beautifully put together young fellow by the Brilliant Invader son Aurum Brilliant Cut out of Rose of Helios, a Kenvain mare. Kenvain is by Kenmare who sired a number of good competition horses including Emily Anker's good 4 star horse Keniski. On top of this Rose of Helios in turn is out of a Favoured Bay mare. Favoured Bay has produced several top jumpers including Australian Olympic showjumping representative Mr Burns (Rod Brown and Andrew Inglis), Bootlegger (Warren Lamperd) and Robyn Brown's and Karin Davis' Mighty Heights who was a three star eventer and a Grand Prix dressage horse! Through these parents Rose of Helios carries a great number of famous names in her pedigree such as Nasrullah (at least four times!), Court Martial, Fair Trial and Hyperion (three times!) which appear in some of the great jumping and dressage pedigrees of the world. Rose of Helios is a big, beautifully put together mare with an excellent temperament producing gorgeous, striking foals. Moses is no exception and would even make an excellent hack. Brilliant Cut really stamps his foals as well and has produced another of his trademark foals here with a pretty head, long legs and a perfect white star. Moses has excellent movement which would suit an eventing career perfectly. With his pedigree you can bet he'll make a sensational jumper as well!
