Aurum horses out and about...
Aurum Brentana, Aurum Solarius and Aurum Revoir each had their first competition outings on the weekend 21st/22nd January). They all coped well for their first forays out in the big scary world! Here are a couple of pics:

Aurum Cleo awarded Premium Foal
At the recent ACE Assessment tour, visiting German judge Gerd Kuest awarded Premium status to Aurum Cleo. Also assessed with high marks were Aurum Rubinella (Ruby), Aurum Jaycee, Aurum Chilli and Aurum Brilliantly Connected (MiMi).
Brilliant Invaders 1st & 3rd at AI3DE 2010!
Once again Brilliant Invader scores big at the major events.
Wendy Schaeffer placed 1st and 3rd riding Koyuna Sun Dancer and Koyuna Sun Shine in 2010. Wendy is one of Australia's great riders and once again proves the quality of the Brilliant Invader line. This line is represented here at Aurum by our stallions Aurum Brilliant Cut and Aurum Invader, both by Brilliant Invader out of performance-bred and competition-proven Eventing Mares. Aurum Rivière d'Or competition successes!
A minor injury last season followed by gelding this year meant that Patch's work was heavily interrupted. After a late start this season he is starting to hit his straps with two Elementary Level Championships wins recently. The late start this season has made qualifying for the Dressage Festival a little difficult but the training and correct work is the most important.

Aurum Ella awarded ACE Elite Status!
During the recent ACE assessment tour we were very pleased that Aurum Ella (Jazz X Walt Disney) was awarded Elite status by visiting German judge Gerd Kuest. Ella was the highest placed 2 year old in the entire tour.
Herr Kuest commented: "Compact, uphill, light in the foundation, very elastic movements, very impressive trot".
Ella is a big gorgeous 2 year old endowed with the most amazing movement and we're really looking forward to her future ridden career! Her younger full brother Aurum Barack is growing up in a field in NSW and shows the same quality. We have been so impressed by this cross that we have yet another Jazz baby on the way from Ella's mum Mary Poppins.
Aurum Jolson, an outstanding 2 year old Jazz gelding also scored very highly in the ACE Assessment. Jazz has produced many high performing progeny including Adelinde Cornelissen's Parzival, 2nd at the last European Dressage Championships. Jazz is currently the World Breeding Federation's top dressage sire, based on results by progeny.
