| Aurum Aquaria is by the McCartney son Aurum Alloy out of Tidal Wave who was a three star eventer. Tidal Wave was by Flooding who is a well known sire of showjumpers in Australia. Notable Flooding horses include Olympic representative Another Flood (Jenny Parleviet and Gavin Chester), Flood Warning (Jim Brown), Flood Alert (Jenny Parlevliet) and 4 star eventer Let It Rain (Kim Wright-Smith and Georgia Clifford) who was sold to the USA.
Looking at the amazing hock action Aquaria shows in the trot (see the videos) you can see the potential she has as a jumping horse. She clearly has the potential to do the dressage required for modern eventing which is no surprise as her sire is very good on the flat. At this stage Aquaria has been retained by Aurum. |
