Aurum Revoir

Crossed with Regardez Moi, his dam Aurum Belle produces seriously amazing foals. Revoir's full brother from 2004 (Aurum Rivière d'Or) was retained by Aurum and is proving to be an amazing student with an immense aptitude for learning. He is doing his first dressage competitions right now and has done some baby showjumping too. Although he's a stallion he is amazingly well behaved and very quiet. We have many people making nice comments when they see him out and they are usually very surprised to learn that he is in fact a stallion!

Revoir in fact may be an even better horse than his brother with his beautiful even star. He has the same sensible attitude, learning ability, Grand Prix heritage and equally good movement. He's sure to be a star in the dressage arena, yet he also has the blood to produce serious jumping ability so there's every chance he will make a top line four star eventer.

Regardez Moi is well known for being a son of Rubinstein, a giant in dressage circles inspite of his untimely death at a young age. Regardez Moi is equally well bred on his dam side. His dam is by Consul out of a mare by the all time dressage great Donnerhall. It's interesting to pause here though, and remark that Consul is by the thoroughbred stallion Cottage Son. Now, Cottage Son appears in the pedigrees of only about 1/2 of the World's greatest modern showjumpers! This is no doubt why a number of Regardez Moi progeny can jump! Matt Ryan in England bred two by Regardez Moi and one of these has recently gone to Advanced level in Eventing.

In Revoir's case we have some additional jumping blood on the dam side of course, in the form of Flooding on the one hand and Vain (sire of Brilliant Invader) on the other.

Revoir's dam Aurum Belle was bred by Aurum out of a super moving Vain line mare. She was retained in the breeding herd and so has never been broken in or competed. Each of her foals has inherited her wonderful expressive movement. She is one of those rare horses who combines wonderful floating strides with excellent knee and hock action hence producing natural power and elevation. She also passes on great presence to all of her foals.

Aurum Belle is by Floodway who was by Flooding. Flooding was the sire of many Grand Prix Show Jumpers, including two time Olympic representative Another Flood, and also 3 & 4* eventers including Tidal Wave and Let it Rain, who was exported to the US and completed the Rolex 4* three day event Aurum even stands a Flooding son .
