Aurum Brilliant Dancer Aurum Brilliant Dancer| 'Maisy' is by the Brilliant Invader son Aurum Brilliant Cut out of Cheval de Pas. Her father stamps his foals with a very distinctive look and Maisy is no exception with her pretty face, uphill frame and beautifully even white star! Even at the age of only a few days she was showing an extremely nice elevated trot with great knee and hock action.
Her mother Cheval de Pas (Tatiana) is a beautifully put together mare with great self confidence. She is by Baryshnikov who has produced a number of good eventing horses. Baryshnikov in turn is by Kenmare who has himself produced some top quality competition horses including Emily Anker's top 4* horse Keniski. The Kenmare line is also known for producing very pretty horses and we can certainly see the evidence of this in Maisy! Cheval de Pas' bloodline includes the well known sires Marco, Hurry On, Fair Trial, Nearco, Pharos, the famous mare line of Mumtaz Mahal to name a few of dozens, so it's no surprise where the succesful jumping progeny 'spring' from! Maisy has a confident personality and will not quit easily! She is always at the front of the queue and we reckon this will make her a tough eventer. She has excellent presence and bucketloads of energy. |
