Aurum Flood Tied

Floyd is just starting his eventing career with Robyn Brown, having done his first Inroductory level HT at Candlebark recently. He was very cool about everything and took it all in his stride, producing a great mid-60% dressage score a clear showjumping round and a confident cross country.

Flooding is a sire who has produced a number of extremely talented jumping horses on the Australian scene including Let It Rain, Another Flood and Tidal Wave. We thought so much of him that we bred him with our highly talented eventer Daisy (herself a purpose bred horse by an Advanced eventer). The resultant colt was Flash Flood who we now stand at Aurum. Flash Flood is a stallion with outstanding thoroughbred movement, plenty of energy and an inherent desire to jump! Flooding horses are notable for having plenty of energy and courage which suits eventing and showjumping well. In our experience Flooding line horses generally move well and like to be highly active.

'Floyd', presented here, like his father, has a ton of energy! He is an amazingly athletic horse with a super canter as well as a very good trot. He is a very handsome young horse and through his mother, has a truly superb hock action. Typically for our eventing stock he is unflappable, bold and with a great deal of self confidence. Super over jumps of course!

Both sides of his pedigree are very strongly littered with many of the most famous jumping sires of the past, who appear in the pedigrees of some of the World's greatest jumping horses. These sires include Phalaris, Court-Martial, Son In Law, Bay Ronald, Precipitation, Hyperion, Nearco, Nasrullah etc etc. He will make a sensational eventer or showjumper!
